I have a problem with special characters like the following example: “!210247 NUALJOTA”.
I have ALL_CAPITAL in RSKC, and “Lower case” enable option in the infoobject, and I try to use the FM: SCP_REPLACE_STRANGE_CHARS, but there is ativation issues of the DSO regarding invalid characters for this dimension.
Does anybody knows how to solve this problem?

I have generated a export data source in PROD of another SAP BW System and have replicated it in my BW PROD System. After replication, the data source remains inactive. I also tried transporting the Export Data source generated in the target (Another SAP BW System) and transporting it to PROD and then replicate it in my PROD system, but the Export data source remains inactive. I have tried RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL , RSDS_DATASOURCE_ACTIVATE_ALL Programs but they don't recognize the Export data source starting with 8*......I have checked all connections between source and target PROD systems and they are fine. How should I proceed for activation of the export data source ? Searched a lot of forums but did not get any solutions for this.

When I run transaction SM59 it shows " RFC callback check not secure" above for all the rfc Connections.
And it is causing so many problems Does any one have an Idea About that error?

Hello Experts,
1) In info-package I have workdate as selection. On that work date I have to write ABAP routine to calculate month from the given work date.
ABAP routine should be for the last complete 6 months of data.
For ex. My work date is 01/30/2012. So my present month is Jan 2012.
And depending upon given work date, I should get result as Aug 2011 to Jan 2012, which I will be using for loading last 6 months of data on given work date. It mean my data will get loaded for last six months.
2) And also in same way I want to write short ABAP code a selective delete program of the last 6 months data using work date.
Kindly help in ABAP routines for this.

I try to find solution on SCN, but I wasn't successful.
Program RSTRAN_ROUT_RSFO_CHECK did not find any message or error – No
messages exist
In transaction RSA1 this object did not exists – I can’t repair , activate or
delete it (serach option did not find it)
Any idea how to solve this problem?

Hi Experts,
When I am executing 0MAT_SALES_LPRH_HIER Data Source in R/3, it is showing “Error occurred during the extraction” error message.
This DataSource is working fine in development server and it is not working Quality and Production severs. I collected this datasouce in a transport request and transported to ECC quality system, still it is giving same error. Can you please let me know if any one of you faced similar kind of issue.

Hi Gurus,
I am filling the setup table for the 2LIS_03_BX using the tcode MCNB. I am running the jobs in parallel by giving the selection plant wise.
I have divided them into 6, 7 parallel jobs. But it still it takes few hours to complete! It takes 4, 5 hours to complete.
So how can i speed up the setup table fill?

Hi,
I am loading data in an Infocube converted to column indexing using BLU Acceleration. The data has been loaded before this conversion and it took around 15 minutes for same amount of data. Now it has been more than 5 days and only quarter of the data is being loaded.
Is the delay due to Infocbue indexing being changed or can there be some other reason?

If the source system is a Client Workstation, then it is possible that the file that you wanted to load was being edited at the time of the data request. Make sure that the file is in the specified directory, that it is not being processed at the moment, and restart the request.

This is delta load and it is failing daily from the recent times. A repeat of delta is successful. Again the next day normal delta is getting failed with the same error and again I have to repeat it. No short dump, no system log is generated in both the BW as well as R/3 system. The job in R/3 is in finished status. But it is not extracting any records.

I have seen only few related issues which said, there could be time inconsistencies, but did not find the exact solution. I have checked OSS note: 1576331 but could not resolve. Also the extractor check for this datasource is also giving the error "Errors occurred during the extraction - Message no. RJ012". We have this issue in production system only and this started from recent days.
Please help me on this.

Dear All,
I have a process chain which has been executing perfectly daily early in the morning. But for last couple of days after successful executing "Start" and InfoPackage" processes it is not executing or triggering drop index process or next process. I have checked that the InfoPackage has finished the successfully and fetched the delta records. But next process which is drop index process is not being triggered or executed by Process Chain. Please find below a screen shoot of Log View of Process Chain:
1. Yesterday, I manually executed the remaining processes and thought next day it will fix the problem by its own when it will be re-executed from the start process? But it did not finish successfully and got stuck again on InfoPackage which finished successfully in the Log View and in the background but did not trigger or executed next process in the Chain. why?
2. How to fix the process at hand?
3. Do I need to design it again or have I missed something while fixing the problem?

Came across a strange problem. I am unable to access RSA1 and RSPC in BW 7.4. Key points to be noted:
- I am able to access RSA1 and RSPC in Development and Quality system, problem only in production
- Problem only for me and few other users. Most people are able to access RSA1 and RSPC
- Our system in BW 7.4 SAPKW74008
- Was able to access till last week

Error analysis
| After a certain time, the program is terminated in order to free the | |
| workspace for other users. This prevents workspaces from being blocked | |
| unnecessarily, for example by an endless loop (DO, WHILE, ...), by | |
| database accesses where the result set is too large or by database | |
| accessess without a suitable index Index (full table scan). |
| The maximum runtime of a program is set by system profile parameter | |
| "rdisp/scheduler/prio_[high|normal|low]/max_runtime". The current setting is | |
| 600 seconds. Once this limit has been | |
| exceeded, the system attempts to interrupt the SQL statement or to | |
| instruct the ABAP processor to terminate the program. It waits for a | |
| maximum of 60 seconds. If the program is then still active, the work | |
| process is restarted. |
How to correct the error
It is best to start programs that take a long time to run as batch
jobs. If this is not possible, system profile parameter
"rdisp/scheduler/prio_[high|normal|low]/max_runtime" can be
increased.
Depending on the cause of the error, the following actions might also
be necessary:
- Endless loop: correction in program;
- Database where the result set is too large: Use "SELECT * INTO
internal table" for example instead of "SELECT * ... ENDSELECT";
- Database access without suitable index: Check generation of index.
If the error occurs in a non-modfied SAP program, you might be able to
find a solution in the SAP Notes system. If you have access to the SAP
Notes system, check there first using the following keywords:
"TIME_OUT"
"CL_RSAWBN_TREE_MODEL_FOLDER===CP" bzw. CL_RSAWBN_TREE_MODEL_FOLDER===CM001
"CREATE_FOLDER_TREE"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself, please send the following
information to SAP:
1. This description of the problem (short dump)
To do this, choose System -> List -> Save -> Local File (unconverted)
on the screen you are in now.
2. A suitable system log
To do this, call the system log in transaction SM21. Restrict the time
interval to ten minutes before the short dump and five minutes after
it. In the display, choose System -> List -> Save -> Local File
(unconverted).
3. If these are programs of your own, or modified SAP programs: Source
code of these programs
To do this, choose More Utilities -> Upload/Download -> Download in
the Editor.
4. Details regarding the conditions under which the error occurred or
which actions and input caused the error.
Any Suggestions what is going wrong. Its only me and couple of users who are facing this problem and rest of the team can access RSA1 and RSPC.

i had created a query at bex and created variable and had kept mandatory and kept interval option and is ready for input settings i had done and kept that variable at filters characterstic restrictions i had tested at rsrt and it worked fine but when i am trying to create bo report in selection screen when i am refreshing it was striking me error problem in source system do i need to do any settings for that variable and variable is characterstic variable and it is manual input/default value can anyone please tell me the solution

I have checked in the BW system that the characteristic, which is being called invalid, is not mapped with the concerned InfoSet. Still, I am not being able to understand the characteristic is being reverted as invalid for the InfoSet.

We have a delta load from DSO 1 to DSO2 picking 30k records .It has end routine which does a look up on standard DSO (say DSO3).having 26 million records
The load DSO 1 to DSO2 takes few minutes to finish .But after changing the look up DSO3 to write optimized type, the load from DSO1 to DSO2 taking more than 2 hours .
Can you please suggest why it takes much take after changing the dso type.
We changed to write optimized because standard dso takes long time for activation step.,

Hi All,
We refreshed our Quality system from Production and completed BDLS coneversion.
However, after that for few Data Sources we are getting the error - Error Source ZXXX ZQ1CLNT200 Does not Exist.
Source System Here is ZQ2 and not ZQ1 and same is visible in RSA1-> Source systems. Also in Data Sources, we can see that this Data source is active and connected to correct source system ZQ2.
However when we check the transformation, we cannot see the Data source connected to it - there is nothing connected beneath it.
We have tried running programs - RSAR_NEWDS_PSA_USEROBJ_CHECK and RSDS_DATASOURCE_ACTIVATE_ALL but still its not solving the issue.
Any pointers please.

i create a generic data source via a program from this link :
when i go to RSA3 and extract data source after 6 minutes show me the out put and i have data in my data source.
when i replicate my data source and active it , i create an infopackage to fill my psa table.
in schedule tab i push start , i have request in my psa but that is yellow and there isnot any data in my psa.
i go to sm58 to execute request manually , but there isnot any request there! why this happen! in this situation i cant continue my work until create info cube because i'm not going have any data in that !
